1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
A “cookie” is a small text file that a website saves on your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) when you visit it. Cookies allow the website to recognise your device, remember your preferences, log you in, measure how the site is used, and — in some cases — show you personalised advertising.
Throughout this Policy, the word “cookies” also covers similar technologies that work in a comparable way, including:
- pixels / web beacons — tiny images embedded in a page that fire when the page loads, used to confirm a visit;
- local storage and session storage — browser storage that holds information on your device;
- tags — small snippets of code (for example, the Meta Pixel or the LinkedIn Insight Tag) that send data to a third party when the page loads;
- software development kits (SDKs) — code included in mobile applications that performs a similar role to cookies.
Cookies can be set by us (“first-party cookies”) or by a third party whose service we use (“third-party cookies”). They can be deleted at the end of your browsing session (“session cookies”) or remain on your device for a defined period (“persistent cookies”).
2. Categories of cookies we use
We group cookies into the following categories:
- Strictly necessary — consent: no
- Required for the Services to work — for example, to log you in, to keep your session active, to remember the items in your application form, and to protect against fraud. The Services cannot function properly without these cookies.
- Functional / preferences — consent: yes
- Allow the Services to remember choices you make (such as your language or display settings) to give you a more personalised experience.
- Analytics / statistics — consent: yes
- Help us understand how visitors use the Services so that we can measure performance, fix problems, and improve our pages and features. The data is generally aggregated.
- Marketing / advertising — consent: yes
- Used to deliver advertising relevant to you and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. These cookies are typically set by third-party advertising networks.
- Behaviour analytics / session replay — consent: yes
- Record information about how you interact with the Services (mouse movements, clicks, scrolling, anonymised session recordings) so that we can improve usability.
We only set non-essential cookies (functional, analytics, marketing, and behaviour analytics) after you have given your consent through our cookie banner. Strictly necessary cookies are set automatically because the Services cannot work without them.

4. Personal data collected through cookies and international transfers
Some cookies collect information that may, alone or in combination with other data, identify you. This includes:
- your IP address;
- unique online identifiers (cookie IDs, device IDs, advertising IDs);
- information about your device and browser;
- information about how you use our Services (pages visited, time spent, clicks).
Where this amounts to personal data under the GDPR, we process it in line with our Privacy Policy.
International transfers.Several of the providers listed above (in particular Google, Meta, Microsoft, and LinkedIn) are based in the United States or transfer data to the United States as part of their global operations. Where this occurs, the transfer is protected by either the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (where the provider is certified under it) or by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses with appropriate supplementary measures. You can find more information in Section 10 of our Privacy Policy.
5. How to manage your cookie choices
5.1 Our cookie banner
The first time you visit cv95.eu, you will see a cookie banner asking you to choose which non-essential cookie categories you want to allow. You can:
- accept all non-essential cookies;
- reject all non-essential cookies; or
- set your preferences by category.
Rejecting cookies is as easy as accepting them. You will not lose access to the Services if you reject non-essential cookies, but some features may not work as smoothly.
You can change your choices at any time by clicking the “Cookie settings” or “Manage cookies” link in the footer of the Website.
5.2 Browser settings
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. The exact steps depend on your browser:
- Google Chrome: support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647
- Mozilla Firefox: support.mozilla.org/kb/cookies-information-websites-store-on-your-computer
- Safari: support.apple.com/guide/safari/manage-cookies-sfri11471/mac

- Opera: help.opera.com/latest/web-preferences/#cookies
Independent information on cookies and how to manage them is available at allaboutcookies.org and youronlinechoices.eu.
Please note: if you block strictly necessary cookies through your browser, parts of the Services may not work properly (for example, you may not be able to log in or submit application forms).
5.3 Mobile device controls
On mobile devices, you can limit ad tracking through your device settings:
- iOS (Apple): Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; and Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising.
- Android (Google): Settings → Privacy → Ads, or Settings → Google → Ads.
6. Your consent and how to withdraw it
When you accept non-essential cookies through our banner, we store a record of your consent (the categories you accepted, the date, and a version reference) so that we can demonstrate compliance with the GDPR.
Your consent applies for up to 12 months. After that, we will ask you again.
You can withdraw your consent at any time — it is as easy to withdraw as it is to give. You can do this by:
- clicking “Cookie settings” in the Website footer and changing your selection;
- clearing the cookies stored by your browser; or
- using your browser’s “do not track” or similar settings.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before withdrawal.
7. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example when we add or remove tools, when providers change their cookies, or when the law changes. The “Effective date” at the top of this document shows when it was last revised.
If we make material changes (for example, adding a new category of cookies or a new third-party provider that processes personal data), we will ask for your consent again through our cookie banner before setting the new cookies.
